Updated Self-insurer Contribution Guideline now available on WorkSafe’s website
WorkSafe is in the process of updating the self-insurance guidelines to align with current legislation and to make them more user-friendly. An update of the Self-insurer Contribution Guideline has recently been completed and is now available on the Worksafe website for easy access. The updated guideline reflects a new formula for self-insurer contributions, which took effect on 1 January 2025. The formula for calculating contributions is outlined in the guideline and defined in part 4, section 15 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation (WIRC) Regulations 2024.
