WorkSafe Victoria appoints new Executive Director, Health and Safety

 

WorkSafe have announced that following their competitive recruitment process, Sam Jenkin has been appointed as the new Executive Director, Health and Safety.

 

Sam comes to this position with over twenty years of experience in working with a range of regulators, including WorkCover in NSW, NSW Fair Trading, Consumer Affairs in Victoria and more recently, as an executive at WorkSafe Victoria.

 

Having been a member of the Executive Leadership Team since mid-2020, he is well versed in both the opportunities and challenges that exist in making Victoria a safer place to work. Sam will commence in his role immediately.

 

The position of Executive Director, External Affairs will now be publicly advertised; with Kathleen O'Dwyer continuing to act in the role as the process is conducted.
