Communicating OH&S across languages - compliance code

The Minister for Workplace Safety, Ingrid Stitt, has approved the making of the new Communicating occupational health and safety across languages compliance code (code).
The code comes into effect today, 28 July 2022. A notice announcing the making of the code appeared in today’s Victorian Government Gazette and the Herald Sun. An update about the new code will also be shared via WorkSafe’s and the Minister’s social media channels.
This code provides practical guidance for those who have duties or obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017, to communicate occupational health and safety (OHS) across languages.
